Libelula Music is a multifaceted entity encompassing an agency, record label, and idea forum envisioned, guided, and brought to life by Liliana Zavala.

Gender equality is a fundamental principle that permeates her endeavors, notably shaping the cultural landscape for a fairer music industry, folklore, art, and society at large. Her sphere of influence primarily spans Latin America, Sweden, and Iran.

Hailing from Córdoba, Argentina, and now based in Stockholm, Liliana is an accomplished percussionist, vocalist, visual artist, and music producer. Commencing her journey as a percussionist at 17 and delving into painting at the young age of eight, she has cultivated a rich tapestry of artistic experiences.

Beyond her roles in live performances, music production, and recording, Liliana has lent her talent as a session musician in diverse settings such as recording studios, theater, and television.

She has studied three years of the bachelor's degree in Folklore from the Royal Higher School of Music in Stockholm, complemented by arts education from institutions in Argentina and Cuba.

Liliana's artistic pursuits have seen her involved in various musical projects, including her own ensembles and collaborative ventures like the Liliana Zavala Trio, Beat Company, and Tamboreras. Indeed, she has collaborated with renowned acts like The Forbidden Orchestra, Fever Ray, and Abjeez.

The recent accolades encompass the prestigious SKAP 2022 Award for composition and nominations for Artist of the Year at renowned Swedish events, demonstrating their expanding influence and acclaim in the music industry. Furthermore, their latest album has been nominated for Rhythm of the Year at Manifestgalan.

One notable highlight is her nomination for Artist of the Year in the Folklore category at the upcoming Grammis awards, a recognition that elevates her status within the industry. Her creative vision and dedication continue to garner acclaim, as evidenced by these significant acknowledgments from esteemed institutions like IFPI.
